Valerie has always had an interest in photography and art, especially when teaching elementary school. She was born in Muskoka and has been a lifelong cottager who now calls Muskoka her home. She loves the beauty of the area and all it has to offer. The pseudonym “Sunset Val” was chosen due to her love of sunsets and the fact that she is “slowly” entering her sunset years….and who doesn’t love a Muskoka sunset! Please stop in to view these wonderful photographs taken in and around Lake of Bays.
