Are you over 50 yrs, and looking to spark your inner child by playing characters in plays and then reading them with fellow participants? No experience is required. This is a relaxing and fun event for anyone interested in pretending to be someone else for a couple of hours.

HURRY HARD – Comedy by Kristen DaSilva
When Bill and Sandy’s marriage split up, so did their curling team – splintering off into a men’s team and a women’s team who begrudgingly share the ice at the Stayner Curling Club. Now, a medical emergency has left the men’s team short a player on the day of the big Regional Bonspiel. If they have any hope of beating neighbouring Meaford and taking the trophy for Stayner, they’ll have to put aside their personal differences and unite as one team. CAST: 3 Males 2 Females

A Broadway hit first produced on the West End under the title Gaslight and filmed twice, Angel Street tells the story of the Manninghams who live on Angel Street in 19th Century London. As the curtain rises, all appears the essence of Victorian tranquillity. It is soon apparent, however, that Mr. Manningham, a suavely handsome man, is slowly driving his gentle, devoted wife, Bella, to the brink of insanity with an insinuating kindness which masks more sinister motives. It is December 21st and Holly’s birthday. Responding to her complaints that everyone is always so busy with Christmas to celebrate her birthday, three members of her monthly book club (fellow sexagenarians Bronwyn, Peggy and Jill) decide to throw her a surprise party. As a double surprise, the trio, armed with a duplicate key to Holly’s condo – await her arrival. But as they set up, the surprises pile up when the condo reveals its own gift of dirty secrets. However, the biggest surprise of all is how the three navigate their own fears, friendship and THAT of being women of a certain age. CAST: 3 Females

Set in an Italian village in the fifteenth century, Vinci revolves around the struggle for custody of a gifted child, a “golden boy,” Leonardo da Vinci. Padre Bartolomeo, a friend of the da Vinci family, finds himself caught between the powerful da Vincis and Leonardo’s defiant unwed mother, the servant Caterina.
